Rare 1940s "Your-Choice-By-Voice" Remote Jukebox

Rare authentic 1940s "Your-Choice-By-Voice" Remote Jukebox

"Your-Choice-By-Voice" music system was a method of delivering music to cafes in days before the automatic jukebox. This music selection speaker device was installed on a table and connected over telephone lines to a remote location. Depositing a coin would connect you to an operator by microphone.

You would talk directly into the receiver to tell a music operator which record you want to hear. Songs titles were listed on sheets handed out to patrons at bars and cafes.

Your selection would then be played on a turntable and transmitted to the speaker by telephone line.

This unit is not tested as a speaker and sold as a collectible and decorative memorabilia.

It is overall in good vintage condition with some scratches on the plastic and some wear and rust spots on the metal.
